Château La Moulière

Our story

It was in this 11th-century manor house, whose tower still stands as a dominant feature overlooking the Dordogne valley, that the “Château La Moulière”In the 17th century, the archives of the commune of Gageac-Rouillac mention "the winegrower of La Moulière," testifying that this place was always a vineyard.

Acquired in 1948 by Mr. Bouchet, this property was subsequently run by his daughter Juliette and then his granddaughter Colette Fournier.

In 2005, his children Sylvaine and Yannick FOURNIER, perpetuate the tradition.

Exceptional Geographical Location.

The vineyard of Château La Moulière extends 90 km east of Bordeaux  and 3 km from the appellation Monbazillac.

The certification HVE High Environmental ValueImplemented since February 2012, it is a tool that focuses on four key themes: the preservation of biodiversity, the plant health strategy, the fertilization management and the resource of the water.

Our vineyards obtained certification in 2013 HVE (High Environmental Value)we are committed to guaranteeing the controlled environmental management.
