YOU MUST CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING PROVISIONS AS THEY CONSTITUTE AN ELECTRONIC CONTRACT GOVERNING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CHATEAU DE BONHOSTE.COM AND ITS CLIENT WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF A DISTANCE SALES SYSTEM.
The "double click" you perform after completing your order form constitutes validation of these terms and conditions and will be considered irrevocable acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, as well as the use of email as the means of communication between the parties. Therefore, you may only order services if you accept all the conditions set forth below.
This contract complies with current French regulations, and more specifically with Law 2004-575 known as the Law for Confidence in the Digital Economy.
Article 1 – Who are we?

This website and the brand Château de Bonhoste are operated by the company EARL des VIGNOBLES FOURNIER whose purpose is the distribution of wines.
This site is produced under the responsibility of the site's webmaster, and its database is hosted on the company's servers.
All necessary measures for the security of the site are ensured by the hosting provider.
Article 2 – Acceptance of an order
As a preliminary matter, it is stated that the order is only fulfilled to the extent that it is possible and available; CHATEAU DE BONHOSTE.COM

To allow the Customer to review their order before final confirmation, CHATEAU DE BONHOSTE.COM offers an order validation system in FOUR steps :
- A first screen allows the Customer to view the products offered by CHATEAU DE BONHOSTE.COM
- A second screen allows him to validate in a "basket" the products he will choose and their quantity as well as their delivery method, then to read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and accept them.
- A third screen allows him to fill out a questionnaire in which he will provide his personal details and confirm the products he wishes to order.
- A fourth screen allows the customer to make and validate payment for the ordered service (products and shipping costs) via a secure payment server.
At the end of these four steps, the payment is recorded, serving as proof of the Customer's order.
The Customer will receive a confirmation message containing the transaction number and their invoice after going through the Bank's secure payment system called "e-transaction".
The contractual information will be confirmed by email to the Client as soon as possible, provided the Client supplies a valid email address that is not subject to any usage restrictions (e.g., a work email address). In this case, CHATEAU DE BONHOSTE.COM cannot be held responsible for sending contractual or advertising information to a restricted access email address.
Article 3 - Price
Prices are shown on the website in Euros inclusive of all taxes (TTC), shipping costs are added to the prices shown and are calculated based on the number of bottles ordered.
Customers located outside mainland France should inquire about any applicable taxes at the time of payment. Customers are responsible for any internet connection fees incurred to access the website.
Article 4 – Payment and transaction security
Payment for the order is due in advance, and only by credit card (CB, VISA, MASTERCARD). For secure online payment, the customer is redirected to the "etransaction" server. The order will not be validated by CHATEAU DE BONHOSTE.COM that is, once the bank server has given its authorization for the transaction.
Attention! In order to benefit from the secure SSL payment method, the Customer must use browsers compatible with the SSL system.
Our company's bank warns the client that optimal security is only ensured by an SSL key accepted by the latest versions of internet browsers on the market.
Article 5 – Order fulfillment time
CHATEAU DE BONHOSTE.COM The company undertakes to ensure delivery of the order purchased by the Customer within a reasonable timeframe, which is generally five business days. The Customer will be immediately informed of the progress of their order by email.
All products offered on the website are available immediately. In the event of a stock shortage, the Customer will be informed of the additional time required to receive their order. The Customer will then have the option to cancel their order (or, if their order has already been paid for, they may cancel it and be refunded within 30 days of notifying the Customer of their decision). The Customer is required to check the condition of the packaging and the contents of the package(s) upon delivery. In the event of damage or non-conformity, the Customer must note any reservations on the delivery slip, specifying the anomalies observed, and notify the relevant parties. Finally, it is specified that the Client is solely responsible for the storage of the products from the moment of their delivery.
Article 6 – Right of withdrawal – right of return
In accordance with current regulations, the Customer has a period of seven clear days to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to justify reasons or pay penalties, with the exception of shipping costs and, where applicable, return costs.
Similarly, and within the same timeframe, if the product does not conform to the order, the Customer must return it, along with their purchase invoice, to the following address: 5 Lieu-Dit Bonhoste, 33420 Saint Jean de Blaignac, France. In this case, the Customer may choose to receive a conforming product (subject to availability) or any other product of equivalent price, or receive a refund.
Please note that any product can only be returned in its original and complete condition, accompanied by the purchase invoice. Products must not have been opened and/or consumed by the customer, and must be packaged in such a way as to prevent breakage during transport.
Article 7 – Personal information
The information requested from the Customer is necessary for processing their order.
However, they may be transmitted to any competent authority for the settlement of disputes between CHATEAU DE BONHOSTE.COM and one of its clients. In accordance with Article 27 of the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, as amended by the Act of 6 August 2004, the Client may exercise their rights of access, rectification, and objection by email to the email address of CHATEAU DE BONHOSTE.COM as it is accessible on its website.

Article 8 – Preservation and archiving of documents

ARTICLE 10 – FORCE MAJEURE
Any event falling under the category of force majeure suspends the rights and obligations of the parties.
In the event that the events persist beyond a period of two months from their occurrence, the parties may terminate this contract without compensation by sending a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt notifying the reality and date of occurrence of the force majeure or by digitally signed email.
The parties agree, without limitation, that an event of force majeure includes any damage originating from or caused by a strike, interruption of energy supply, failure of the Internet network used by the parties, total or partial failure of the telecommunications network, total or partial interruption of services due to public or private operators, civil or foreign war, riots or popular movements, attacks, storms, earthquakes or any significant damage affecting the premises of the parties.
Article 11 - Applicable law and competent jurisdiction
Regardless of where the contract is concluded, these Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after a mandatory attempt to reach an amicable solution, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the High Court of Paris.
Article 12 – Protection of minors
In accordance with Article L. 3342-1 of the French Public Health Code, the sale of alcohol to minors under the age of sixteen (16) is prohibited. The Customer confirms that they are at least 16 years old when placing their order. Excessive alcohol consumption is dangerous to your health. Please drink responsibly.
Article 13 – Product presentation, photos and illustrations
The visuals present on the site CHATEAUDEBONHOSTE.COM
are not contractual.
The photos on the site CHATEAUDEBONHOSTE.COM are the property of EARL des VIGNOBLES FOURNIER.
