Soft and Smooth

A blend of noble grape varieties, the finesse and roundness of Sémillon, the fruity aromas of Sauvignon Blanc, and the floral aromas of Muscadelle. Côtes de Bergerac Blanc Moelleux are sweet white wines, produced from overripe grapes.

60% Sémillon – 30% Sauvignon Blanc – 10% Muscadelle
 

Harvest & Winemaking 

The berries are pressed to extract the juice. This juice is then placed in a vat where the alcoholic fermentationIn order to extract the maximum of aromas, We will maintain the temperature between 16 and 18°C ​​throughout the alcoholic fermentation. This alcoholic fermentation lasts on average 15 days, followed by a aging on lees for several months with the aim of providing fat and total stability in wine.
 

Consumption:

Best enjoyed within 5-6 years. Serving temperature approximately 8°C.

Tasting

A lovely, clear, and bright yellow robe with golden highlights. The nose is clean, fresh, and fruity with aromas of pear and pineapple. The palate is supple and lively, then round and mellow, developing pleasant fruity flavors that linger on the finish.

Food and wine pairings

With duck foie gras, aperitif, melon, Roquefort-type cheeses, desserts, strawberry salad.
